Video from Hanging Rock 2011

Here are some helmet cams that have been posted on youtube. Hanging Rock was... I'd call it tough, partly because I had not the best of tread and slippery, slippery Ohio Snot mud. Other than that, a nice, fun, challenging set of single track trails. Look at some of the video, including the second link which is the famous creek trail which is near Hocking Hills.

The format is a little different this year, there will only be one day of extreme woods riding. The second day will be a gravel road Adventure ride, snoozer! Last thing I want to do is waste my S-12's on the road so I will only be riding one day. Our plan is to ride Saturday, stay in our official Hanging Rock Cabin as before (we have a few open beds if anyone is interested), then pack up early Sunday morning and check out, then risk our lives riding Wayne National Forest on Sunday. If a high-flyin' drunk four-wheel loser doesn't kill us head-on on Sunday, then it should be a good weekend. The Saturday Hanging Rock ride I'm sure will be every bit of challenge as years past. Expect that soft, off-camber mountain top section as usual, along with snotty valley's of mud and ruts. Hanging Rock is always a challenge, and the little town of Zeleski's Fire Department depends on us to raise funds for them. So come on out and help support this ride.

Can't wait for the 2012 riding season to begin! Husky to Win!
