Statewide series organization?

I think Ohio needs a good organization to run a state wide hare scrambles, GP and enduro schedule. There would be a lot better racing and more participation if one series were made to combine all the other local series, outlaw races, and clubs. Down south where im from there are a couple different series for different states. See for yourself how i think it should be done. Local clubs work with a larger organization to have races, larger organization works with national series to bring in out of state racers and pro's. Some races are co-sanctioned by FTR, SETRA, and NEPG or AMA national HS. Closest thing i have found here is the ACES series.

I'm not exactly sure where the riding interest really is on these forms of racing in Ohio.

I know that they exist, I know guys that race these but for one reason or the other just don't get much talk or activity from them on Pitracer.

The hard core hare scramblers that I know race GNCC. I have a coworker, vet rider/racer that is big into dual sport rides and enduro events and travels extensively all year long to many states to ride.

I also know there have been riding clubs in Ohio that focused primarily on Hare Scramble events, but struggled with membership and attendance. GP's get attention on here because they are tied to MX.

I only ride GP's and Post-Vintage Cross Country races (hare scrambles), but can't tell you that I would travel statewide to race a series on modern bikes.

There is lots of interest in HS in Ohio, but like NQ said, not much of it is on Pitracer. This site is primary MX racers on two wheels.

Have you looked at the CRA schedule? I'm not exactly sure what you are looking for, but there are a LOT of harescrambles on the schedule and the Buckeye series.
