Sadly-- somebody stole my beloved '05 CRF150F out of the back of my truck at 12:45 am Thursday night/Friday am. I just got home from riding it, came in the house to make a 10 minute phone call, and some dicks came by and unloaded it. I went out ten minutes later to unload it and it was gone. My 110 was right next to it, so I'm glad they didn't get that too, as I have alot of work into that bike.
If somebody sees it, or they catch the people on it, I'll work out some kind of reward.
Props to the Brunswick police who jumped right on the call, and had the sniffing dog right on it. The dog followed the scent down Laurel to Maxwell Dr., where they must have started it up and rode it.
The VIN is: 9C2KE01005R002501. It has a set of TAG bars on it, and had (somebody would be really stupid to leave them on...) #64 on it. Bone stock otherwise. It did have a small dent/scrape on the bottom left of the frame about 3/4 of an inch long. Please contact me @ arcavaluchi@roadrunner.com or (216)544-2398. Thanks --Tony C.

Sorry to hear that Tony….Thieves are the lowest – of – low. Bang an ad up on Craig’s List like the AHRMA guy did. Ya never know, it worked for him.

Sheesh, what a bummer.
After seeing how the AHRMA guy who just had his RM250 recovered by placing an ad in craigslist about the stolen bike...it might be a good idea to do a craigslist ad for your area that refers to a reward for a tip that leads to recovering the bike. Spreading the word as much as possible is good.
Back in the early 80's, I had an 81 RM125 stolen and I was telling everyone I knew to keep an eye out for it. A guy I told, mentioned it to someone he worked with and that guy ends up telling my buddy that some low life in his neighborhood had recently been riding a bike like mine up and down the street. Went over to the low life's house and sure enough it was setting in their garage.
Good luck!

I would let as many people know about this as possible. A friend of mines son had the same thing happen to him a couple of months ago. His bike & gear was stolen a day after buying it. I was talking to a fellow racer about it, & found out that this guy had been approached by someone wanting to get rid of some gear. Turns out it was the kid, they set up a buy with the Sherriff's dep't & recovered everything except for a jersey.

Yeah-- I already have it posted on CL. I do have an idea about some sketchiness that has transpired within the last couple of weeks too. --t

man that sucks. I am so paranoid about having my bike stolen, but i guess they would really have to go though a lot to get it. I am going to have to start locking mine up on the trailer even. Do you live in a house or apartment?

Feel lucky that the police even cared enough to come out!!! We have had 2 bikes stolen and the second time they didnt even come out. Just told me there wasnt anything they could do and call my insurance company... Yet I get a phone call a couple of times a yr wanting to know if the bikes have been found! Last time I asked why the call and they told me so they can let the ins company know if it has been returned... LOL... What a joke it is if u happen to live in Ashtabula County...

So....you just never know what you will find at Medina Fair.......like a kid racing Tony's bike!
I'm standing by the fence by the ambulance and Tony comes up to me and says "hey I swear I saw a kid on the track on my bike!" We look over around some people and not 10 feet from us there it was leaning up against the fence.
Police were quickly on the scene, pulled the vin and verified it matched the stolen bike report, Tony ran home and grabbed his title, and his bike is going back home with him tonight! And there is a young man that has an upcoming court date.....

Hahahaha! Can you believe that?? I knew it was my bike from a distance because I have a 150R front fender on it. Who in the hell would be dumb enough to steal a bike on Thursday night, change the numbers, then show up at the Medina Fair on Tuesday where there are thousands of people right from the area watching? Props again to everyone who had my back and helped me get it back. The Sheriffs were on top of the scene for sure. --T
