    Track in Columbus

Very cool Sharc! $20,000 in 1912 would be approximately $632,000 today But there would be zero chance to build a 5000-seat facility for 632k

    Track in Columbus

Many, many, moons ago Columbus was the home to a board track. Located approximately at the southern edge of Upper Arlington and the northern edge of Grandview...who knew? This postcard, from the Columbus Public Library collection was mailed from Columbus to a couple in Greenville in January...

    2024 SX Thread

So glad for SX to be back! Especially with the new start time close to 8pm for all the night races :) Felt the racing was good overall. Some surprise finishes, some not. I had Webb 1st, Jett 2nd, Sexton 3rd, Kenny 4th, Tomac 5th. Surprises to me were Anderson, Plessinger, and Barcia Not even...

    Briarcliff Mx 10-8, Last Ride

Fun track yesterday. Looked like you had a good turnout. Liked the removal of some of the split lanes. Happy retirement to your Mom and Dad. Now get busy planting that winter wheat!

    Dirt

Article from The New Yorker Magazine about Monster Jam with opening comments regarding the dirt they own and care for. https://www.newyorker.com/magazine/2023/08/21/when-trucks-fly Caring for their dirt relates to local facilities also. Similar to farmers, if you have good dirt and good prep...

    Battle for Ohio (the original)

Where were you? What? You stayed home? Really? You seriously missed out... The turnout may not have been as big as in the past but the track was absolutely on-point both days. The program ran like clockwork. Only 1 quick interruption for some track maintenance. Facility looked great...

    108 MOTOS

Props to Nathan Mock. Finished 16th in 450B Moto 1. First time to LL's and was first alternate. As of 10 days ago he wasn't going to go because he didn't actually qualify and felt he didn't deserve to be there. I totally respect his effort!

Buckeye Series at COCR 7/22 and 7/23

It was definitely a fun weekend. 2nd moto in 60+ was a mess but everyone is good. Your dozer operator is top-notch. Starting on the grates was a unique experience. Has anyone considered adding some kind of extension on the sides? I found them a bit narrow and had a hard time touching the...

For all you "track prep is too deep" people

I know this post is originally about the Nationals but CTMX's prep was on point last weekend. Turns had some rutted areas, some not, and with watering throughout the day, dust was minimal.
