Think it was '71, I had the same one with lights and no speedo, pretty sure it was a '72.

Think it's a '74, the '75 had the plain tank with the circular World Champion logo, and the RMs came out in '76

Ditto what Elliott said. I wear hard lenses and only had problems when I didn't keep my goggles clean inside, or if the lenses got dry. Glasses were worse for me, even when they had the ones with notches for the stems.

Late evening post...sounds promising. From his wife- "Barney Barnett cat scan came back with NO abnormalities. ...Thank you lord.... just time and healing."

From his wife on FB tonight. "Update on Barney Barnett. He is currently still in ICU. responds to some questions but doesn't open his eyes. Answers some questions correctly, but others are wrong or he just states "I don't know". He's been sleeping most of the day. Dr is ordering another cat...

Reports this morning say he woke briefly, knew his sister, know his name and birthday. They say,"Far from out of the woods, but this was improvement."

I'm seeing posts on FB saying Barney was injured at a track while protecting his kid. Post indicate a head injury and he is at Akron City hospital, in ICU. Sending prayers for him, thought folks here could add theirs, and good wishes for a complete recovery.

Sorry, I read a lot of stuff, but not necessarily in detail. Maybe I got duped with a PS job. They do look REALLY appealing in the photos, always liked Kawi green.

Pure rumor, but I heard them mentioned in the same article about a new (another) LA franchise attempt. Big market, big $$$

Carsten is out here in NJ. Races a lot locally, runs at the front of both Vet A classes. I think he rode 3 classes at the annual Vintage and Vet race at Englishtown. Lots of guys from the 80s out here, you'll find them in the Hi Flyers card sets.
