I great moment from that race!

Hard to hear and process this. Praying for Sharc's family. Sharc had style. I think this was his 2nd 525 in a long line of KTM 4-strokes.

I recently found these and thought they may bring back some memories for several of you. Unopened, signed stickers... they have to be worth at least $5 per.

Somewhere in a box... I have tons of pics from Harborwoods taken in 1979 and 1980. Matt Manfredi used to fly on a '79 Can-Am. If I remember correctly, he did some nationals on that bike. I was 9 years old and watched my brothers race. The addiction was born.

Mexican food in Northern Florida = bad memories! I also remember winning a National Championship that weekend too! It was all due to the full factory support I had. Fly into the races... win... and then fly home. :D

Why were those gorgeous Hondas put in the back row? That was an awesome trip!

I find it so strange that Ohlins is really looked down upon in MTB'ing. I still have very positive vibs regarding that brand from MX, but I haven't met a single mountain biker who likes their suspension. I haven't tried their stuff because it's way too expensive to try given the wide spread...

When he hits that jump at 150 mph, he actually taps the brakes in mid-air (watch the brake lights). I wonder if that was a panic or was he tapping just the rear brake to dip the front end. Amazing stuff.
