Agreed. When I did the top end in my 250f I found dirt in the intake. I was so careful with it. Also used the foam plugs in the intake. Gravity is a bitch. The one downside of that intake.

I have cti2 customs and love them. I have used EVS visions prior to that which were a little more bulky. My son is on his second set of POD which are similar to the CTI construction wise. Both have been good.
The shop that cleaned up the cylinder and checked valve clearance said it was excessive wear on one side of the piston. Figured some dirt got into the airbox. I tried to be as careful as possible but with the location of the filter on the newer 250f everything falls straight into the intake.
