HE went down because when he landed in the soft dirt, overshooting the jump, the frame bottomed out in the dirt throwing him foward off the bike. He held on and almost rode it out body dragging...

Our first time down as well, great track, fantastic facility, you got some of the best dirt around! We were just down for Sunday. We'll be back for some races next year. Would like to see some of the banners not so close in the tight corners. One snagged my front brake lever and pulled me down...

I think this artical was directed more twards the NMA national events, For the most part I think most of the local track promotors due a good job of keeping things safe. CRA, AMA included. I have been to Ponca where they allow you to jump on a yellow flag. You guys are right on the injury...
