    Pymatuning Holeshot Raceway

Holeshot was the first real motocross track I ever rode on, and where my first race was back in 2000. It seemed awesome back then. Definitely seemed to fall off soon thereafter to me. I would really like to see it booming like it used too, and the track in good shape of course.

My brand new RM125 back in 2001 cost $3,900. Bike prices are just crazy these days. I still have my 2006 RMZ450 that I got new back in 2006 and for all the more I ride these days it's as good of a bike as I need. It still only has 73 hours on it. I think it had 60 at the end of 2006

That sucks. I wanted to go there this year. Never made it out there since I haven't really been riding in a few years

    Tracks along I-77

TNT had a sweet layout when I was there, but it had not been prepped in probably a week (with lots of riders on it throughout that time) and was dry, hard pack, dusty powder in the corners, etc. It really sucked. It definitely had potential. I'm sure it was nice when prepped.

I never made fun of those guys. I knew one day I would be one of them lol

Haha! I live between Charlotte and Concord in a town called Harrisburg. It's not a good location for motocross. There's really not many places to ride around here. I'm into drag racing now though and it's great for that. I only live 5 minutes from zMAX Dragway and Charlotte Motor Speedway. Lake...

    Tracks along I-77

Center Road MX and East Bend MX were good tracks off I77 in NC a few years ago. I haven't ridden either one since 2007 or 2008. Also Check out Sand Hills MX, it is just into South Carolina, real close to the NC line. That place was always good.

What's hard to believe is that we are now the guys that are saying "those were the days!"

Theres not a season that goes by, that I don't think of you.

I'm with ya Crute lol. It always sucked racing against only a few guys. Matter of fact, last time I raced 250B (what is now 450B) at Scenic it was a total of five of us. I think it would be a real struggle to make money with an MX track these days. No one is going to open up to lose money

nice price on a rm 125 i found

Looks pretty good to me aside from the lack of graphics. Still has paint on the frame, ignition cover, etc.

    James Stewart's practice mechanic killed.

This is such a tragedy. I travel quite a bit (put over 60k miles on my truck in 20 months) always move over AND slow down when passing a vehicle that is sitting on the shoulder, and I support the law that requires us to do it. It's just amazing that things like this happen. People look at the...

Anyone have a spoke torque wrench to sell?

I used to take my wheels apart and grease the spokes and nipples and relace them on new bikes. It doesn't take long for the steel and aluminum to be corroded together.

Anyone have a spoke torque wrench to sell?

I've been using a FASST one since 2003. They work great!

    Are you my father?

Like Barrington said, they have plenty of power without an exhaust. Just a waste of money IMO after having it on two 450s years back. I've been 205lbs forever and it hauls me around good.

    Pastrana.

When I was watching the Bud Shootout the other night, in one of his interviews Carl Edwards said his arms felt as if he had been riding a dirt bike (arm pump). Sounds like he's ridden more than putting around in the woods.
