    OIR experience

I agree somewhat Georgie, but a 400 rider turn out with gate and moto fees brings in around $15,000. Posisbly a bit more. But how do you get 400 plus rider turnouts? Ask the Hand family.

    OIR experience

OIR is a great facility regardless of the promoter. With that said, bike racers and quad racers will not get the best track conditions possible when they race together. Bikers usually come out on the worse end of it. as I said before: "We tried in Pa, some tracks would groom completely...

    OIR Photos

We tried in Pa, some tracks would groom completely after quads, some did not. Even when they groomed, the track never came back around as it became more one lined. The answer is to run them seperate days, but that is too expensive for promoters with insurance, expenses etc, or run a staggered...

    Ahh, the "C-class" thread

Advancement is a tough situation, especially with Vet riders. The AMA realizes that Vet riders aren't always going to improve as the younger riders do and alot of input from the local organizations can affect a Vet riders classifcation. It is amazing on the requests from racers to drop back to...

    330 wow!

330 was the only PAOHMX track running yesterday. There was a LL Area in Central Pa, but not part of OHPA.

    330 wow!

A class ran 5 laps, 4 laps for us slower folk. I think that there were a hundred plus riders. 330 could not have done a better job. They used good judgment and held off the motos until the track was excellent... and it was. Alot of practice was offered Saturday and Sunday.

    330 wow!

Track was amazing today. Brian and his crew had 330 prime. I wasn't quite sure how it would be due to the colder temps, but it was great. Multiple lines in the corners and loam. Tomorrow's race should be even better and a touch warmer. The only problem is that I rode way too much and may have...

    Dual sport tires?

Just finished plating my 450 ktm. I Initially thought that I would get DOT tires. After a few rides I think that I will look into some decent mid to hard type of knobby. The dual sport tires just seem like there is too much knob area and don't clean out well. Some people use those trials tires...

A little help with the cost of racing at 330 next week will be Suzuki and Kaw contingency. Also, all amateur riders who trophy will have the option of a trophy or PA/OHMX Coin worth $10.00. Can be used at all races like $$, gate fees, moto fees maybe even the concession stand.. You can easily...

very special thank you to Area 330

Racing at 330 will be great. The series races that will offer contingency and a championship will grow the racing turnout. Racing at OIR this year was some of the best attended events (plural) that I have ever been to in Oh. There are so many passionate riders/racers here. It would be awesome to...

I see newcomers to the board....

Ok, I am announcing my newness. Although I have viewed Pitracer for years and spend time riding in OH, I am activly involved in the racing organization here in Pa (and now Oh). I always got a kick when I would recognize a vet poster on Pit, from racing at High Point, OIR, 330, Spring Valley etc...
