Usually Friday practice is deeper than race day. But both are usually a little deeper since it's the 1st event after the national after they've normally added a ton of sand back in. It's only hateful the first couple practice sessions though, after that it's fun

Just treat it as another practice where instead you start at the same time as the other riders in your group!

There were actually 5 races that weekend, and open practice tracks. Anyone who thinks practice tracks aren't affecting race turnouts has their head in the sand! Obviously not all practice riders are going to race but a handful would definitely race if the choice was no riding. 5 racers equals 10...

All of the above. Neighbors basically got the upper hand even though the track has been long before. They are allowed 2 events a month, can't run back to back weekends. No over night camping either. And if they dont run 1 event a year, the place has to close down. The owners almost lost it...

Was hoping to go this weekend but didn't work out. I'm hoping it's not quite as SX as it looked on the videos, always loved the natural terrain feel there with a few fun jumps added. Hopefully will check.it out soon!
