Sturd's comments are pretty accurate. 1) class structure is a non issue 2) TIMING is everything and for the exact reasons Sturd mentioned. It does seem that the numbers are improving and I hope that trend continues since I think the GP's are just what people want but they don't realize it yet...

I have found that if you shift up a gear it smooths the landing out a ton. I think it has to do with the engine braking of a 4 stroke. I told a friend to shift in air or before jump and he was amazed at how much it improved the landing.

I agree, I did a GP last year and really enjoyed it. I wanted to make a couple of the OMA GPs but they are not falling into place with my work/life schedule. There were a lot of riding options last weekend so I hope attendance improves.
