There should be about a 1000 of them out there. Seems like everyone in the mid 90s was supposedly sponsored by F&S.

I agree with this. I bought a 2001 CR and wish I had bought something 98 or older instead just so I could race the AMA Vintage events.

Yea makes sense to me as well.

I've started to shop around for a 125 "next step-upgrade" bike for my 18 year old nephew, and this one caught my eye. If it didn't need an engine tear down probably be a nice bike to have. But thought it might make a good buy for a tool handy old school moto head.

I've still got my 98 CR250 that has been a reliable steed and races well in the decade class.
