Kathy Daffron scored my class, she would let me know what place I was in every lap.
Lucky for me she only needed one finger (no not that one) !

My old elementary school. Came down this year for the new one going up right now.
We raced around in those woods behind the school on our bicycles long before anyone had heard of BMX or mountain bikes.

Actually my season that year went like this:
(18) first place
(1) second place (Joel Andrews beat me but I caught up to him on the last lap)
(1) DNF (black box )
Won 1977 Buckeye Raceway Overall (MX and HS points) Track Championship.

Track in Ontario (Canada) that was real big in the 80's - Hully Gully. Man, I loved that RM 125! And check out them gators!
