Ok, I missed out on a smoking deal on a used 2016 KTM 150. I am looking for a great deal on a new KTM 125 /!50 or a YZ 125 for my son. Anyone know of any dealers that are offering the best deals? I got one price of $7100 on the KTM and $6400 on the Yamaha out the door. Anything better out there?

Hands had a newer yz for sale, check with them. You still can't beat the yz, it still wins all the shoot outs.

Yeah, he told me it was a guy from Erie coming to get it. I looked at it online for two weeks before I sent him a text on Friday evening.

Greg you can sell me yours for $5500!

John, I would buy a Yamaha, parts are plentiful, parts prices are nice and low compared to the KTM's, you are more likely to find a needed part in a pinch at a track due to the number of Yami's out there, your up front price is less for new or used, the suspension is still rated as the best out there and to me that is more important than anything on a bike and the engine is still reliable and strong. The only tough decision is new or used. Good luck!!

I am a Yamaha guy. Just seems like the KTMs have newer technology on the 125. I am leaning new or used 2015 if ones out there. Matthew will ride it for a couple years until he is ready for a 250F. Some people have told me to get a 250F. But he is only 12. He is not ready to race a 250F.

Let him ride a 125 for a while, no need to rush it. As you know, Jonathan is a big boy and he loves his 125, especially the suspension.

Maybe so but check out the MXA shout outs for 125's the last couple years, Yamaha still wins them every time.

a 125 is more than enough especially for a 12 year old. There are days that I feel just as fast on my 125 as I do my 250f, and I've never never spent any time dialing it in, never even set the sag. its just a play bike for me. point being, they can still move around pretty good, especially throwing an exhaust and some reeds on it, get them jetted perfectly.. for a capable rider the machine is fine!!!!

Thanks. I can get much better deals on a new Yamaha than a KTM. I am leaning Yamaha. Have a KTM 85 I would love to sell! Anyone like to buy it??
