Motovan set up for mini's

Looking at some wheel chock/tie down thoughts for a van. Problem is most the wheel chock's I see are for big bikes. He has a years to go on 50cc bikes with 10" and 12" wheel's. Trying tie down 3 bikes every time is going to be a bit of a PITA which is why I was looking at chocks.

This is the only small bike option I have found.

I cut a 2x4 to make it fit inside the chock to raise the wheel.

What type of chock were you using?

Ive been using the Pingle chocks for years, I dont have any problems with Austins 50's

The $300 one? That is the only one that I see that would not require tie downs.

sorry, missed the part where you dont want to use tie downs.

Build understands. I've seen some guys do them with 2x4s. And cut out a notch to seat the pegs into. Done. Cheap. Saw it on vital. Wish I had the pic.

I have thought about making these, but then I think about how it would be a PITA to maneuver the bikes around 3 sets in the middle of the floor, to load them. Where as if I did a wheel chock there would be nothing to pushing them in and be done.

I wish the front axles were hallow I would then make up a easy set up of running a pin through the axle to a set of legs to anchor them down.

Looking at the understand some more, it appears that the bike may push right between the legs to lock them in, but they dont make them for anything under 85cc height bikes.
