David Hayes On 6th May 2018 when on a boating trip Eric Geboers went missing after diving in the water to save a dog of drowning in a lake in Mol, Belgium. He has been missing since and is presumed to have drowned

The report says his dog was in the water having trouble so he went in, people there said he immediately had trouble staying afloat himself. I guess the lake is known for cold strong currents. Sad to hear, RIP

I was at Glen Helen for the USGP in 1990 and had the pleasure of watching him. I really knew little about the Euro's and he came over and won on our soil on a 500. I remember thinking holy crap this guy is pretty fast and it sticks in my mind that he looked to be a bit small for a 500. Also the fastest I saw moto's on 500's in my life. He was fluid and on the throttle. He did win the 500cc GP title that year and I think he called it good. R.I.P.

Only video I could find on it. You have to jump around a bit but he is #3. Cool podium at the end because you can hear him talking and have some fun.
