My son said it was his least favorite CTMX track yet. Some of the changes they made. Not sure why they would take the double double out in the top section.

Just my opinion, but if they stay open, I think the place would be good to put some lights in and make it a night race track. Just my opinion.

I agree with your son 100%. My .02 cents of constructive criticism is that the track was not up to par(in terms of layout/prep was good). I understand they tried to slow it down, but it has NO flow, it’s 90% one-lined, nothing to separate anyone, even the middle table top had no take off. The “S” turn/chicanes...please stop! They make racing impossible. Inside to inside and you will never get passed...trust me, I know. I did in my last moto from the uphill whoops til the finish line.

The only area to pass on that track is the start rollers and the uphill whoop section. Everywhere else you could go from inside to inside and hold off damn near anyone. Especially someone close to your speed that your battling with.

I worry CTMX is trying too much with the track and it’s been declining in “fun” factor. You can have the best prep in town, but if the track doesn’t flow and it’s not raceable than what’s the point of having good prep?

To be clear, I’m a big supporter of CTMX. I’ve supported the track before it was the cool thing to do. I will continue to support it, but the track needs some serious work. #nomoreSturns #makeracinggreatagain

Im aware of the number of ruts. As i said, prep was good, you can have 10 ruts, but it doesnt matter when i can take the inside and cut off the guy on the outside to take the next inside line. Believe me, its not just me that has these thoughts.

Two of those photos are in the “S” turn after the tunnel. I watched this section closely and didnt see one pass there all day.

Again...contructive criticism...from your customer base, a racer.

Where the flags are now, (S turn). I miss that old sweeper left there. I loved wringing out the 1 2 5 by the fence. It then set up for good passing on the finish line straight.
I like the uphill whoops, the rollers before the wall jump after the start.

I dont know what I would change, kinda stuck with the upper section long and skinny.

This was the first Moto Mayhem I have missed, see you next year. I will bring the band, we can be Friday NIght opener!

Just keep plugging away, we appreciate these fun events after all the qualifiers and regionals and putting pressure on ourselves.

This event is great because it is a "for fun race" everyone wants to win, but if you don't...there is still a fire at night , a band and trick or treat!
