Probably a group of Amish. They've run the prices on land sky high up in Holmes and Wayne Counties, now they are coming down this way and will most certainly do the same thing.Hearing from a good source that the representatives for Crow put in an offer, but another higher offer from a group looking to hunt there has been accepted.
Same with Coshocton. They bought a local swimming spot/camp ground closed it to the public.Probably a group of Amish. They've run the prices on land sky high up in Holmes and Wayne Counties, now they are coming down this way and will most certainly do the same thing.
Bring Broken Spokes back!I would expect an official announcement in the next week or so. I do know that a few of the guys who were putting up the money to buy crow are now attempting to find property elsewhere to purchase and continue the club.
Crow will be hard to replicate though, had a little bit of everything.
This past summer or early fall a 10 acre farm just outside of Mount Hope sold for 1.4 million. I dont know how they get their money but they sure have it. When they come to the post office in Mount Eaton that I work at they (the business owners) carry two wallets on them, one is their own money and one is for the business. They are full of 100's. Last year before the stamps went up one Amish guy bought 300 coils (100 stamps on each) totaling right around 18,000 dollars and didnt think twice about it.I live in Wayne County, very close to the Holmes County line. There is a local farm someone just sold 98 acres, for 4.5 million. Id say amish bought it. I heard that there is a pending deal for crow. Any information if it will still be used for riding or if hunting is it?
Butter and pies are big business.Where are the Amish getting all the money?
