Crow Canyon for sale?

I heard a rumor and then saw an ad from a realty place saying that Crow Canyon is for sale for about 2.5 mil....? Whats the scoop here? Someone has to know.

Hearing from a good source that the representatives for Crow put in an offer, but another higher offer from a group looking to hunt there has been accepted. Pending that not going through for some reason, sounds as though it will be changing ownership. No idea if it will be a private hunting club, if they'll lease for riding or anything else at this point.

Malvern and Crow both gone in 2 years time is a tough pill to swallow. As a member who rides there nearly every weekend during the summer, im gutted.

Probably a group of Amish. They've run the prices on land sky high up in Holmes and Wayne Counties, now they are coming down this way and will most certainly do the same thing.

Same with Coshocton. They bought a local swimming spot/camp ground closed it to the public.

300 acres got leased up next to the farm I hunt in Holmes. Its a high dollar outfitter. I hunt my ass off and im up against a place people pay 3k for a week long hunt. Tough competition..lol

I live in Wayne County, very close to the Holmes County line. There is a local farm someone just sold 98 acres, for 4.5 million. Id say amish bought it. I heard that there is a pending deal for crow. Any information if it will still be used for riding or if hunting is it?

I would expect an official announcement in the next week or so. I do know that a few of the guys who were putting up the money to buy crow are now attempting to find property elsewhere to purchase and continue the club.
Crow will be hard to replicate though, had a little bit of everything.

This past summer or early fall a 10 acre farm just outside of Mount Hope sold for 1.4 million. I dont know how they get their money but they sure have it. When they come to the post office in Mount Eaton that I work at they (the business owners) carry two wallets on them, one is their own money and one is for the business. They are full of 100's. Last year before the stamps went up one Amish guy bought 300 coils (100 stamps on each) totaling right around 18,000 dollars and didnt think twice about it.

Drive through mount Eaton every time i hunt. Did tonight infact lol. I have 241 burned in the brain, I could probably do it with my eyes closed. Coming home (north) that dang hole in the road before the light is something else!

When i was 18 150 acres sold behind where i hunt for 150k.. Ended up leased for a few years then mossy oak property sold it to the current Amish fam for 1.5m... Heard them shoot tonight, probably a yearling. Lol 1.5 mil to shoot any deer that walks.

Yeah thats something I forgot about. Those guys will shoot at anything that moves and they put on huge drives. That being said, one guy did bring me some venison trail last year, it had jalapeno and cheddar in it....was quite good. Anytime you're in Mount Eaton swing in and say hi if you have the time. I'm there pretty much 9 -5 every week day.

Doesnt sound promising...

Heard this today. Source seemed reliable but who knows. Last time I asked about Malvern I got ripped to shreds in here for spreading rumors. But we know how that played out. Where there's smoke... you know the rest.
Finally got to a Crow demo day this year, was a blast. Hopefully the club can make a deal if it does indeed sell.
