MERPs?

I see the forecast and I know how the woods get there. If it doesn't pour, id consider it lol. So bummed the Western Reserve one is no longer.

Heading to Burg in a few min for the noon session and then the 2pm session. Should be fun, haven't run a MERP in a bit.
Ill look for pics before i decide on a 2pm rip. Probably going to go to Quaker and watch Dakotas little buddy race carts instead tho.

Track was sick today. Woods were mint. Yesterday for the team race they were greasy and were holding lots of water. Battlesburg is a cool track, first time there. Got to rip a Ducati and it had such a bad bog i took it back in after one lap and switched to the other bike which was awesome. The owner of battlesburg is a dick and most likely won’t return due to him. I’ve never wanted to punch someone in the face so badly as i did that guy lol.

You mustve caught him at a bad moment or something because usually Steve is cool af to everyone I see him interact with.

I don't even know who runs BBurg anymore.

The track today was probably the best condition I've ever rode Burg IN MY LIFETIME. It's usually so hard and dusty it was cool to ride it actually with moisture in the dirt and lines.

Overall I didn't have all that great of a time. Haven't ridden woods in a while, and these MERPS are just so heavily favored towards the woods that it was difficult for me. Woods guys going diagonally across the MX track while rolling jumps was fun too, was like all sort of extra obstacles trying to jump over them on the MX track without clipping them.

Back to MX for me for a while, probably till fall for an Amherst GP.

That was the first time I’ve ridden a MERP race and the woods were actually challenging. Lots of rocks and roots, and weird metal pipes. Woods were close to single track, but not quite there yet. Lots of hot lines developed which were nice. Mx track is fun like i said before. I was able to jump almost everything on the surron ultra bee i was racing, only thing i didn’t fully hit was the triple in the back. They run the electric class with the 30+C, 40+C and sportsman classes, we start 3rd row, and i ended up 1st overall on the electric bike.
