W.T.M. - Weekly updates

I wadded up bad Sunday. I have no idea what happened. I remember sitting in my trailer wearing my shorts and a t-shirt. I was told I whiskey throttled over a berm and landed 50 feet off the track. They also said I was out cold. Guess I rode the bike back to the truck. I remember none of this. My helmet, a Bell, is dented on the inside. I have a mark on my head and it is tender. My whole left side feels like I got hit by a truck. My head seems to be functioning ok now, but man I'm sore! I never got knocked out before, kind of creepy. Already ordered a new helmet and a RXR Chest Protector.

Concussions are no joke, take your time healing up on this! I did just get an email last week from UPMC Sports Medicine that they were doing free concussion baseline testing here in Erie and would like to get it done for myself…

Pulled the 96 out of the corner of the garage and went to Redneck Ranch (formerly Stoke Run, Ohio Dreams) on Sunday. Their new Facebook page is The RNR Ohio.

The old steel hammer felt ready for VMD this weekend.

T with another title coming soon!

Alph, recoup slowly. I knocked myself silly last season. Take your time and allow your noggin to recover.

Working/Relaxing like crazy here. Waiting just a bit longer here to watch my yearly IG doom scroll content from lorettas. The editing coming out of the younger generation is wild, so many freelancers out there doing amazing stuff!

Maybe race summit county fair if @Toddco327 is going to line up?

Rode beans today. Didn't quite have the time for a BC trip.. Had fun doing some last minute testing (stiffer shock spring to settle some deflection mid corner and brembo brake set up with big rotor. Which, btw, is the first big rotor ive ever tried lol). Put in a couple 25s and left. A few localyocals made it a little sketchy at times. Had a kid on an 85 jump on the track right in front of me after coming over the top of monster mountain at speed. I was using a Jett line and jumping a kicker before the actual peak and was carrying good speed over it. He skipped the low corners and was cutting that part of the track off and re-entering before the right hand sweeper. Felt good overall, but man is it a kick in the nuts when youre feeling good, passin most people, then this deep ass roar comes up behind you out of nowhere for a second... Really, only a second, then Jeremy Hand blows by like I was stuck in first gear.. Then I remind myself im 40 and hes capable of a 14th at a pro national. Lol

Joe's girlfriend rented out Switchback MX on Friday for his birthday, that was cool. He raced Sunday at Hillside.

I need to find someone to drain this giant hematoma on my thigh. Went to an urgent care but they wouldn't do it.

The 'cliff was exceptional both days.
Especially Sunday. At 3:30, the track still had moisture.
The 2 big tables along the west treeline are much bigger.
Haven't made the first one, but got the 2nd
Definitely got rough yesterday, my hands feel it today!

Broke the ice at battlesburg after a while off. Busy summer, last one with little man before he is off to school. It was my nephew's first day on a 250 last weekend, he killed it! Therapy is real and riding a motorcycle is a form of it for some. Other's struggle to find a purpose in life, I'm grateful to be in my position and thankful for those who surround me.

2 weeks out from vetfest and I am really behind on the conditioning. I will be needing to be able to sprint atleast 10-12 min. racepace to get near the top 5.

Got my setup dialed for LL. 22 in. monitor kicked off the laptop. Probably start the week off with a scoop of Neapolitan and transition to a intermediate chocolate chip if it dries out during the week.

There was a girl at beans snappin photos. She sent me these and I thought they were pretty cool. Watched this kid since the days he was on 50s. Now he's made red buds gate and will be giving it another go at the dilla. I was just pumped to stay close enough for a second to make these pics possible. I caught a tow from him over the big double just after this too. I couldn't guage my speed well for it so initially I wrote it off in fear of getting hurt before I left for LL. His tow in was perfectly timed and it was easy peasy.
