Loretta Lynn National to be broadcast on FloSports this year

I ALMOST got in 45+ today! They took 3 alternates and I was 4th.

So since I was geared up we headed down the road and took the obligatory LL pictures.

Very cool John. So how does the alternate process work? You sign up, gear up and show up for the first moto to see if there is a spot? Did you ride practice?

Thanks!

It's a formal process now. Top 10 alts can ride practice and if you want checked in as alt you have to ride practice. So I rode 45 and 50 practice Monday.

On the results board by the finish line they write down Alt names as they get in during the day Monday.

Then for moto 1, you gear up and go to "alternate island" which is a canopy over by mxsports office. They come out and check you in as present and know your alt order.

You all sit there BSing waiting to see what happens. If someone doesn't show to the gate, they radio up and say send down an alt and they walk out and tell first alt to head down!

Im so happy for you man. You put in a lot of work for this one! The last gamble paid off big!

They gave me a ticket as well and I was pretty pumped about it. I think it was Rita that actually gave it to me too. Lol Yamaha gave out these sweet pitboards too, which will ultimately be my trophy.

Chris was spotted on KKeefers Vlog
Been seeing chris in a few spots. He just sticks out! haha

I missed most of the motos yesterday. I did see Phil Harris had a good result, pumped on that! He has been really working hard and deserves that!

Weege is the most trusted source right now in motocross. I enjoy listening to his stories, he has worked most of the jobs at the track throughout his career.

The fast lap times so far. The B guys are setting the pace. (And, yes, I realize how rapidly and drastically the track changes at the ranch.) I wish they would schedule 250B or s/boy2 and 250 Pro Sport back to back and 450B and Pro Sport back to back to see how they compared.

Fastest Laps:
1:51.527 Jett Kellogg 450 B Moto 1

1:51.708 Blake Thomas 450 B Moto 1

1:51.741 Tristan Prueitt 250 B Moto 2

1:51.851 Tristan Prueitt 250 B Moto 2

1:51.855 Ryder Malinoski 250 Pro Sport Moto 1

Woohoo!!! In a last second crazy flurry right before the start of moto 1 I got IN for 50+!!!!

I got no parade lap, just had to go right to the gate...could barely ride I was so nervous but now I can try to ride better the rest of the week!

So let me get this straight all that bullshit over the years is about taking dealer, checks and gift certificates and amateurs can’t get money but now flow racing can just give 1000 bucks to people at Loretta’s and now we’re all still considered amateurs

Got it. Check.

I don’t ever wanna hear any more BS about kids racing a one off money race that is NOT an AMA sanction saying they’re taking money and getting protested

Bring back “money or trophy” at the local races! Make money great again.

Ummmm, not sure what planet yall have lived on but the riders getting paid has been around for a long time just under the hush hush!!! The Carmichaels, Stewart’s, allessi’s, villipotos, etc!!! The riders weren’t getting paid but the families were!! You don’t think Jayden smart’s parents aren’t getting money from Yamaha? Why do you think these young amateurs switch brands?

Very cool getting into the show guys. Be happy to be on the gate and getting to race.

I saw Meister's comments on FB. I am in total agreement. No ex fast 40 national pros should be in the vet classes. Make one Pro "legends" class for those guys. That opens up 5 to 10 spots for real amateur riders.
