Power band

In the need to be the first to post in the tech forum i have the following question

Which power band should I install in my 06 yz 125 ? Who makes the best one ? Do they come in different colors or just the factory color ? I want one that just plain rips !

Any help would be great.

im actually experimenting with running NO powerband in my yz250. I was told it works the opposite way and adds like 30 extra ponies.

yes I have boxes of powerbands tell me what color your looking for and I'll ship it to you for a nominal fee.

Nahhhh, red powerbands don't turn very well, plus after the band stretches out it has white creases in it.....

Oddly enough I pulled a powerband out of a 65cc and cannot believe the difference it made to my YZ250. This was a little tip from Mitch at Pro Circuit. I promised I would not share this information but after the first ride here I am giving away the secret to the ultimate powerband! WARNING! I am no way liable If you hurt yourself with this Mod! (call Mitch)

I have a powerband in all 6 six gears, and it rips my arms off. Some bikes I have owned only has a powerband in the first two gears. LOL

Briarcliff is now a five powerband facility. You'll need at least five of them to get around the big track.

All this knowledge about powerbands and such, way to gear head for us mere mortals. I'm looking for a steam conversion kit now, and I'll be stickin it to the man. HAhahahaha!!!

hope you guys are kidding there is no physical part called a power band, the term "power band" is just referring to the high rpms of a 2 stroke

No mine is purple, I've taken it apart many times and had to replace it...Mine always snapped when I hit the rev limiter in 6th gear going down route 90 to warm up my tires for the track...
