Trevor Vines, Wesley Withers, Tom Beckett, Paul Leimbach, Marc The Sharc, Pitracer himself and probably many more pitracers I missed. Are you in this video?
 
I remember that day. I started out just outside of the top 5 on my buddy's YZ125 and faded to 17th! hahaha. The second moto was a little better but most of all I loved the smell, the sound and the
great feeling of taking off the line with all the 2 strokes!
 
yeah that was a great day, very fun. On my 96 CR 125 went 8-6 for 6th OA. I think you beat me to the first turn all day dave b
 
I wanted to go back and take a look at the results, but when I go to the link that I had for OIR / HandRacing something new and unfamiliar pops up.???? Am I doing something wrong? Is the site gone? ….sure hope not..

It's hard to believe that was in April in Ohio!
We don't have our webpage anymore but we have a facebook page-Hand Racing

We are looking forward to seeing everyone at our races this year at Western Reserve--

Maybe we can dub the first event at Western Reserve you guys are putting on a 2 stroke challenge day. Meaning I challenge everyone who owns a 2 smoke and who reads this board to show up and fill all the gates for that 2 stroke class!
 
Yeah rember that day...Lots of fun...Ran the old 76 Maico 250 in +40 & managed to beat a few old guys.
Best part was 2nd moto having a mid pack start aginst the modern 4 strokes!
Loved my KTM 525 but 2 smokers are more fun!
 
I'd be in for that one! I have two 2-strokes so if anyone, that I like, wants to ride one
for this event let me know and I'll bring them both. Katin, are you reading this?
 
How do we know if we are on the "DMX153 LIKE LIST"????? And what kind of 2 Stroker are you offering up???? Some sort of weird European Brand with a number like 153 on it that can be easily changed into a 163????


Just kidding, I'll have to either build my KTM 250 from parts, or put a new top end in the 144 to be ready............

Making the DMX153 like list is easier than changing an air filter! I'm offering up very weird finely crafted Italian made
2-strokes. So weird that the 250 pictured here has the chain on the wrong side. Both bikes are #163 friendly.

Now there is a real yellow and blue bike! And you can take off the seat to change that air filter without tools.

Ever ride the 360?
 
Bummer on that first 2 stroke date........... I'll be in Atlanta for a wedding followed by a trip to South America so I'll have to attend a mid or Late Summer 2 Stroke get together........... so the Blue / Yellow Husky is still available to anyone else that can make the DMX153 like list!
 
Cool video and an AWESOME memory from that day. The sound of all those bikes is something I really miss. June must be 2 stroke month because we have a 2 stroke race at TV Land as well on June 26th! tvlandmx.com We are offering classes for ALL 2 strokes that day. 2,3,or 4 wheels. I'll keep the program biker friendly but I just can't resist a gang of ol ATC 250R's chasing the mosquitos out of here.

If anyone comes to my class this Saturday I will be teaching how to rip sweet holeshots and leave cats in the dust just like in the video!!!

And DMX, I would love to have a ride on that sometime! It wouldn't even have to be a moto (unless it's available).
It looks fun and you make it look pretty fast!
