Currently in the the middle of gathering parts for a S3 fork swap on my 05 yz 250 and so far only forks I can find is 250f and 450s. I can get the springs off my one buddy that are OEM 06 yz 250 springs question is can I just swap the springs and ride or do I need to revalve them and such?

I swap springs on my 08 yz450. I put 2010 Yz 250F springs in my 08 yz450f. 100% better I weigh 150#.

How much do you weigh? The 06 250F and 06 250 2st had the same rate fork springs stock. If you end up with the 250F forks, try them out first and see how you like them. If you like them as is, then just get them serviced, unless the seller can verify that they had been recently serviced.

I'm 190 now trying to get back down to 175 and my 08 250f suspension was all stock and had no problems with them.

190 should be within the range for stock rate springs. Hopefully you'll bolt them on and be happy as is. Also, your axle is on it's way to you.

Another question lol I've been reading in forums after I've ordered 250f forks for the 3S swap and they say 250f forks are shorter. Problem? No big deal or not true? The forks are 2006 Yz250f.

I don't think there is any difference in length between any of the 06 YZ big bike forks. The 08 up are about 12mm shorter.

Alright only thing really to do is measure them when they get here lol thanks again for all the help. Hopefully it all works out.
