DMC, Treaty City, COCR ?????

Alright you three, You have had plenty of time to address your plans for 2016. I was told that it was talked about for a couple seconds at the banquet on Saturday nite but no one could hear what was said. Something about both DMC and TC are rebuilding the tracks but that's all was heard. So, what is the plan? Going to have races? close? practice only? Join or create another series? Or just act like nothing happened and continue down the incredible dysfunctional path as the last few years (or decades some may say).
Come on guys, with the combined 200 years of motorcycle event promotions, someone has to have a plan???
Hell, even the CRA has addressed it.
PLEASE SHARE !!

I am told DMC is going to invest (it was said at banquet $12,000) into the track. Keeping the starting line and big double, nothing else. Planning on building a new track. That's what I was told Saturday night. They are going to have a couple practice days next year and that is it.

As for Treaty and COCR, I heard nothing. But without the draw of the SWOHMX points, neither of them would draw any racers for an outlaw race in my opinion. They did say Treaty was bulldozing and building a new track there also. Hope they get some that knows how to build a track. They also need serious advise on prepping.

Hate to see Dayton not racing. They outdrew almost all the ohio tracks in the Vet class for sure. But excited to see Dirt Country, East Fork and Rt 62 in the OMA.

The DMC plans really makes me stretch my head?? Invest now and not have races? Someone should tell them they are doing it backwards.
A large portion of the riders that DMC and Treaty gets do not care about points so why would it matter? I think COCR is in the same boat.
Speaking of, since I have never really cared about series point, I am really out of the loop on this one. Are people really going to chase points all over the state? So are we going to see a bunch of folks from the land of Johnny Football making the trip down to Dirt Country? I just can not see myself driving 4 hours north to race a 50 when there are several track down south that are closer. Again, this is a very foreign idea to me so I am just curious.
DMC, Treaty, COCR, Fast Trax, Action Sports, Fly MX, Buckeye Hills... dare I say D-11.

Not all will travel, but some will. Ask Chilli Town. The thought is that we have set the new OMA schedule setup, is that we are counting roughly 12-15 of your highest point paying events. Make your own overall series. If you only hit the old D-11, Chilli Town and Briarcliff, do it. Just wanna hit Malvern and the northern track, have at it. By not placing restrictive boundaries on the racers we dont limit where people race. If you do want to travel, there are 11 super series and 3 Battles, overall series done! Just want to do south.....there are 11 not counting BC or 62, lots of options. How is that logic?

12-15 out of how many races? That was one of the reasons I stopped racing cra. I was beat by one point in the year end by a guy I raced 2 times.....and I beat him. He raced every sat night malvern and I didn't race any. Year end should include the largest majority of races. Let the small series work for the people who don't want to chase points all year.

We love to travel, 15 events in 10 states 13,000 miles and more fun than any old guy should have..... 4 hours is a local race, our best trip this year was 21 hours to Houston for the Rio Bravo National, and well worth the trip.
