2018 AMA racer advancement list

So 1 dude from Ohio gets sent to the A class....And just a handful get kicked out of C... some of them being youth riders...
AMA advancement = JOKE. But if they send me $50 they can appeal back to being a bag of dicks.

This is funny....
9. If I qualified for the Loretta Lynn’s national 10 years ago, am I still eligible for the “C” class?
No, if you ever qualified for Loretta Lynn’s Amateur National you are no longer eligible for the “C” class.

I am pretty sure Blake pressede was in there. Lol. If I’m not mistaken he is like 10 years old. He got moved from Y to B class. Wtf? I️ mean seriously. The kid is still on a 65 no?

You could still be on a 50 and get moved to a B class.
You can continue to race 50, 65, 85 and schoolboy classes. Just means you cannot race C class once you move out of youth classes.

If he's done with LL, I'd go straight to A. He's going to run at the top locally in either class. And he can start paying you back when he makes some money!
Yea sucks you’re only racing 2-3 guys but vote to stagger A-B and say you want one gate drop each moto!

I suppose that would be something to try but I would imagine everyone would have to be on board with one gate drop. I think it's a good idea bc no one wants to race against 2-3 other people and it's not real fun to watch. I think the other thing we could do is do schoolboy. The other option is like Jon said, move on to A class but I think that might be a little premature?

That is correct. My son Tommy was the same way.

Thanks Dave, but I honestly thought you should ride B for awhile before moving up to A but maybe I'm wrong. The one good thing is that the A class does seem to have larger gates so maybe that is the thing to do. I guess Jonathan and I will have to talk about it.

Some of those guys in A class are moving much better than what you think. Especially at the larger regional events. I would go B and work on getting to the top 3 locally there then if that is consistent, then go A.

Over the years I have seen guys kill the C class, and do very well and yet struggle in B class to only fade away. Not saying this is Jonathan at all, but I would get top 3 in B locally before considering going A. It is not helping improve your speed if your running around the track by yourself.

Nothin wrong with racing B? Good natural progression. Unless your just local for life then A be good. Anything really. What’s he wanna do ?

well since Jonathan has already won B class locally i think he would be ok in A, also the kid has been progressing so rapidly that i think it would help him, (and give me a shot in B class again) lol
