Battle race .... lets poke the bear.

Is there a pissing contest between OMA and Buckeye series? There's def some rapey pee pee measuring tension in the air. I don't like your idea because I like options. If I wake up and don't feel like going to the battle than I want the option to go somewhere else. Flavor is the spice of life (RIP married peeps).
Not at all, where did you get that idea at?

Not sure how anyone would miss my point by now, I've explained it multiple times. It only applies to promoters that hold a battle race. There are 3 weekends a year you don't hold an event. Thats not a lot to ask if you hold a battle race. Other than that game on.

Look above, I specifically said I'm happy the race ohio series is booming. I'm happy all tracks are booming. I'm not cool with track owners who have a common base of riders competing against each other on the same weekend for a Battle race. It's not good for the tracks or in the long run, the rider. When tracks close, we lose.

Nice to see the wheels fall off this per usual.

JJ584: hard to take you serious with a pee pee blast. Go back to the drawing board.
I’m never serious, it’s about having fun and laughing at you and myself at the same time. Really I’m just trying to see if some corpses come to life after I say some weird s**t.

Let's put it this way, the CRA was the 2nd largest sanctioning body in the USA before Malvern left. I'm not saying Malvern is the only reason the CRA was big. But Jason wanted to add OIR as a track he would run and hold races, the CRA said no. Not sure of all the reasons, but that is why the OMA formed. Lack of unity and fighting inside the CRA. In the 90s and 00s the CRA had great tracks and turnouts. The Triathalon in the 90s was fabulous. All came to a halt because lack of unity in the CRA. Let's not let history rhat can be avoided ruin a good thing again.

Was it lack of unity or greed?

In this case, is there a difference pee pee boy??
I always thought the CRA got greedy and didn’t listen to the riders. Wasn’t the outdoor stuff like your too 32 finishes or something close? That was kind of crazy to race that much local stuff.

It was your best 30 something out if like 80 races you could do. It was crazy, but it also had a lot of riders. When the OMA formed (because Jason couldn't run OIR) they took a few tracks with them from the CRA. It all fell apart. The marital bliss fell apart.

Who was the largest?

The AMA. This what? People I know are racing GNCC because of the amount of riding time, the event itself and value for their money. The Sprint races are killing it even better from what I hear. Races broken down into short multiple races on different terrain. So even out of shape people can have fun. Has nothing to do with Ohio mx stuff.

They aren't bitching about because they are shooting themselves in the foot by having 4 GNCC events the same weekend.

Maybe you should adopt that philosophy.

Then after a couple years have regional events to get to the state championship.....pretty original idea ya got there.
Is originality what you were looking for by having a "state championship" outside the state?
I was trying to look at ways to involve other tracks and have more then just one event. I personally think having a series for a state championship is goofy at best. And if its a true STATE thing, then every track should have the same chance to hold the event.
But then again MX Sports holds the AMA national championship... So yeah, I guess your good.
I hear Dayton Motorcycle Club is having the Hawaiian State championship next month. I may try to go.

It will be interesting on July 25th. Briar Cliff is racing OMA and COCR not too far down the road is racing Buckeye. I know there is no way in hell I am skipping BC to go to COCR. But yet MANY will go to COCR that is not even in the same league as BC. Numbers will be interesting.

Then you have Rt 62. What the hell are they doing? Running OMA and Buckeye Series races. June 20 is a BS race, Aug 7 is a OMA race against EF in the BS Sereis and August 21 is a OMA race against DMC a BS race. Why in the hell would the Buckeye Series even include this track racing against them? This one makes ZERO sense to me.

Bottom line. The battle series by far could be the four biggest races of the year in Ohio if the would get back to supporting and promoting them. Hell make them all Pro/Ams as well. Offer a big pro purse, etc.
