Scoob, do you have a KX 450F frame? If so thats the hot frame setup for the KX 500 AF conversion. Just need to find a motor. Ever try KX Riders? They have a huge section on the 500 AF conversion and also on a SF...thats steel frame conversion, like the 250 perimeter frame.

theres nothing wrong with rolling jumps...I've rolled plenty in my life...easy ones and hard ones. Eventually you'll get up the guts to try a certain section and it wont be as bad as you thought.

all the discussion on premix ratios has got me wondering, if one had major engine failure and it was traced back to a problem with the premix, would the oil manufacturer cover the repairs assuming you were running the recommended ratio according to your bike size?

50:1 is fine. Thats all I've run since I started riding. A YZ 125 with MC1 @ 50:1 then ditched that for Maxima SuperM @50:1, ran it in my 125, KDX 200 and still to this day in my 500. What does the manual recommend?

110/90 is a little bit narrower. I think maybe the 110s are more for the smaller bikes, 250's and 125's but I like the narrower tire on my 500 because it seems to me the narrower tire digs more, gets better traction, that being said, I'm 300lbs so I usually get good traction everywhere.
