For years and years Blendzall mixed with race fuel was then and is still today my cocktail of choice. Castor oil and race fuel always had a distinct smell.. Or aroma would be the fancy term. Later in life I always said if they made an aftershave that smelled like it, I'd wear it.

The bikes look fantastic with the stock plastic and graphics.. Pick any modern intermediate tire, and you'll be fine. Before you throw money at the suspension, ride and see just what it needs.. I don't know your weight, but maybe just a fork oil change and setting sag may be fine for your type...
