i thought this was pretty cool. i wish i would have became an astronaut

that's awesome. I've seen it from the ground at the mini o's one year. That thing goes through the sky like a bullet, I can only imagine the live view from that plane!

that would have been so awesome. ive seen other jets go past before, and i thought that was sweet. seeing a rocket go up like that is a once in a life time experience
 
You may not be able to become a astronaut but you can build and launch you own rockets, some of them are quite large.
This one is 8" diameter and about 9' tall.

The guy that built this 1/10 scale Saturn V lives in Hartville. This rocket was 37' tall if I remember right.
 
What if it screws up and comes down on one of those cars passing in the back ground??? the thing weighs 1600lbs......
