I wouldn't think the lense would be any more expensive. It looks totally isolated from the camera junk. Cool idea.

Why would you be wearing these goggles in a mud race? I never use my Go Pro in the mud. I would use these goggles just like my gopro....sits in the bag most of the day but then comes out for video.

That's raw. I love it. Hopefully the Tear offs cover the camera so when you rip one off it's nice and clear and no more 14 minute smudgey youtube videos!!! It doesn't look like they do, but they should really look into that. That lens would be hard to clean after you just got a face full of roost.

Saw these goggles first hand at Area51. They are pretty cool! There are start/stop buttons on the right side of the frame so you can reach up and turn it on/off without removing the goggles.

  10. Who had them? I could not find where to get tear offs so I have not bought any yet.

There was a very large NY vendor onsite with a full semi setup, very impressive. But, I have no idea who they were, sorry.

I think yes, there are now a goggles with camera which you can use to record videos on your underwater adventure.

I like the Liquid Image Goggle cam, but they are a bit cumbersome to fit into some helmets. Unless they've updated the cam since I got mine it's not 1080 like the gopro. I shot this with the goggle cam: http://m.youtube.com/watch?v=y8ZjXCCwwDw

I bought a pair of Liquid Image 1080 Goggles off of Ebay over the winter to try out next year. I've not even opened up the box yet, but will like to see how they work once I start riding again in the spring.
