[FONT=georgia,serif]Tanner Allen Stine, age 14, of 219 South High Street, Freeport died as a result of injuries sustained in a dirt bike accident at his home Sunday, May 8, 2011.[/FONT]
[FONT=georgia,serif]Born May 4, 1997 in Wheeling Medical Park, Wheeling, West Virginia, he was a son of Terry Allen Stine and Tracie Lee Allen Stine of Freeport.[/FONT]
[FONT=georgia,serif]Tanner was an eighth grade student at Indian Valley Middle School, Tuscarawas.[/FONT]
[FONT=georgia,serif]He was an accomplished motocross racer and he had several wins with a victory Saturday at Malvern Motocross Raceway. Tanner loved his family, being outdoors, mowing grass, and Reese Cups.[/FONT]
[FONT=georgia,serif]Surviving are his parents, Terry and Tracie Stine of Freeport and two sisters, Shannon Lynn (Rocky Moore and his daughter Cloey) Stine of Gnadenhutten and Brittany Sue (Roger Bloom)Stine of Gnadenhutten; paternal grandmother, Helen Barker of New Philadelphia; paternal grandfather, Ron Stine and his wife Linda of Cadiz; paternal great-grandmother, Clara Stine of Freeport; maternal grandmother, Diana Bouska and her husband Larry of Piedmont; numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends and his racing buddies and families.[/FONT]

[FONT=georgia,serif]Preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, Richard Allen; his paternal great-grandfather, Glenn Stine; a special cousin, Courtney Allen; and his paternal grandmother’s husband, James Barker.[/FONT]
[FONT=georgia,serif]Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Friday, May 13 in the Freeport United Methodist Church with Pastor Dave Koch and Pastor Jon Little officiating. Burial will follow in Greenmont Union Cemetery, Freeport. Visitation will be held in Koch Funeral Home, 216 South High Street, Freeport on Thursday, May 12 from noon to 9:00 p.m. with family present from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.[/FONT]
[FONT=georgia,serif]Memorial contributions may be made to Terry and Tracie Stine, PO Box 134, Freeport, Ohio 43973 to help defray Tanner’s final expenses. [/FONT]
 
It's hard to find words to describe how I feel when I read of this...so sorry for the families and our loss of a fellow young rider in the sport....godspeed 75.
 
This saddens me! Hate geeing of such tragedy! Thoughts and prayers for this young man and his grieving family.
