125 or 144

Shut down? Where these rumors coming from?

I know he closed his website for a bit last year while they built a new one, that was it.

Called at christmas for a freind was looking for some cyl work and phone message stated he was not open for business at that time was kind of shocked but figured he was taking some time off.He is very good guy don't find them like him in the motocycle business too often.Hope he is open for business cares about what he is doing for you and doesn't try to sell you things that you don't need.

Look at his website old site had a form and prices ,shipping thats a ups deal have to weigh it and insure.Insure ? ask the boys at factory connection east how many fork UPS has smashed

For a 144 you have to grind away part of the cases so the piston skirt will clear. You either have to send him the whole engine, or just the topend and then grind the cases yourself. The grinding is pretty easy we can walk you through it.

Yea insure it. To tell you the truth ups and FedEx pay people 8.50-12.00 an hour to load your box. Which is 1 of 4500 they will load that night. They don't give a **** about your stuff. I worked for ups for 7 years and FedEx for 6 mo in the summer of 07. INSURE your motors. They'll get dropped 10 feet to concrete often. Most everything else I wouldn't insure. But motors are too heavy and alot of time they're packaged terribly and fall out of the box.

And think if you were slaving for 8.50 an hour and going to college would you care if you broke something ? It's no skin off the employees back. They can't prove a specific employee broke it.

If you want it shipped safe I'd say ups insured, FedEx second, and the only true fool proof way is take it yourself.

Just to help Sharc out on that Athena kit, it is the updated version. With the one piece head the problems they had are solved. I ran one for about 10 hrs and my friend has had one on for almost a year with no issues what so ever.

unfortunately the only thing I can grind is my teeth...lol right now I think my wish list is bigger than mine cash flow... between new tires for the dirtbike and set of pipes for my harley I think I. With the 144 kit i must be in lala land

Is that 144 kit for a RM? I just bought my buddies 03 and it needs a top end so i was planning on doing the 144 thing. If so how much for it?
