Maxima SC 1

I have to say that the Maxima SC 1 is the best motorcycle polish on the market. It goes on without running and it leaves a nice shine that is dry to the touch! I have also noticed that mud and dirt dont stick to the bike as easy. I also put SC 1 on the under side of the front and rear fenders to keep mud from sticking, helping with weight to power ratio.

Motul makes an almost identical product that I've been using. Great indoors or at a well prepped track but dust loves to stick to it.

You would be surprised at how well a $1 can of furnature wax polish such as the Dollar General version of Lemon Pledge works to make plastic look great, and repel mud, but then I'm a cheapskate!

Doesn't it make the bike super slippery/harder to grip?

yeah thats why you chose carefully where to put it!!! the slippery wears off pretty fast though. i notice it for a few laps then forget about it. unless im trying to look fancy i usually just dont spray the shrouds or airbox.
