Maybe some qualifications needed should be listed. If you only need be a pot stirrer, I could nominate a few from here. ;)

We are looking individuals that can learn the rules, be firm when they need to be, use good judgement, and that are overall good when dealing with people and situatuions.

So iif you are smart enough to difuse a bomb, you are in.

Can you race and be a ref? What are the attendance requirements? That is ... every event or certain tracks only? Specifics please?

We are looking for several people. We have had a few people interested in be able to race at the same time. If someone can stand in and ref your moto, that shouldnt be an issue. We need people that have been racing for at least 10 years, or at least have been directly involved with it that long, meaning they know the sport well. We need people that can be fair yet firm when they need to be. We are not going to find anyone to do them all, so right now we are looking at a track by track deal. We are primarily looking for refs for the major series races at this point, we want to cover those first. To be honest, I wouldnt mind having two at my track.

I have one so far.

The guy Chilitown uses has always been good. He does Chilitown and all the AMS races. I would perhaps talk to him and see if he's available for more than the Chilitown rounds. Might be willing to do at least BC. He's been around a long time too.

Racers could be ref's, but I think they shouldn't be allowed to impose any penalties on anyone in their own respected moto's. (And their childrens motos alike.) Would be nice to have a few, in addition to the promoter.

No C riders can be Referees. Period.

looks like I'm out... I'm still mad someone took my number! looks like i cant race now...

No sandbagging for me in the "sport" class......So I am good and a have 3 decades of expirience, and have worked tons of races. I am more than qualified, but no thanks. It is a thankless job that all you do is listen to people bitch. Plus I like to complain like everyone else.

Guaranteed top 6-8 right there shouldn't a raced sport class

We will be relying on peer pressure, hazing and other vets to shame sandbaggers in the Sport Class. I dont want to hear any crying about Vet sandbagging this season. Just like I tell my oldest kid, "you are the oldest, set an example for your sisters". Same to the Vets. (btw this is meant to be funny, dont blow a gasket, its friday)

Yep, thats me in 12th. Had a HORRIBLE start in the first moto. Got 8th. Second moto, I am first one to first turn and pull a dip s**t move and somehow stall the bike. DEAD LAST because I could not get the bike to fire for a long time. So your correct, that is me in 12th. Loneranger is correct also, 6 of the riders ahead of me are NOT C riders either, and all are seasoned B riders. I got talked into running Sport by one of them since I had never ridden BC before. So I am not proud of finishing 12th in the sport class......and did not like not jumping the triple in the race, that I jumped in Practice.

Wasn't this you that got 12th???
