Transponder Scoring for 2013 Acton Sports Season

Action Sports will be using transponder scoring in 2013. The transponders can be purchased for $10 and they are good for the entire year, as well as 2014! Also we will be doing number reservations for the year. If you would like to reserve a number for the entire season email Kyle at kw@actionsportsracing.com. This will be on a first come first serve basis. Numbers 1-25 are reserved for Pro class riders.

I would assume they are the same type used at all arenacross races , they attach to the rear of front number plate approx. 1.25'' wide and 2.50'' height.
 
The guy we are working with right now is the same guy who scores all of the GNCC's. It is a new transponder system that you place underneath your helmet visor. That is where it has worked the best. He has already tested it at the OMA Nationals as well as WORCS. This new transponder is easy to use and very cost efficient. It has a two year battery life which makes it even more cost efficient. I'm not sure if he has any info on them yet but the website is tracksidesoftware.com.
 
On the site it says the price varies from $36 a year to $55 per year depending on your length of subscription. What is your $10 price for 2013 and 2014 cover?

Different system. You are seeing prices for the current MyLaps transponder that you will need for LL Regionals.
