Spark, Fuel, no start!

Be very careful with any impact on the flywheel nut,I seen a guy twist it right off
Make sure no old fuel is in the crankcase from a leaking needle and seat all winter.
Good compression, fresh fuel and spark at the correct time and no restrictions in the air box or exhaust
You would think it should run
I have seen reeds gummed up from fuel after it has sat awhile
Check key on flywheel ,no likely but anything is possible

So my '91 RM125 has decided to not start this spring after running completely fine every time I rode/raced it last year.

Has spark.
Getting fuel.
Good ground.
Won't fire, not even a bark.

My only remaining thought is something electrical went south and it's not sparking under compression. Which electrical part would that typically be?

Just checking in to see if you got the bike running...if you did, what was the issue?

Pit- If also else fails get join the elite by getting a "Maico-Break-O" as they are seem to start & run well....LOL!

After they sat for over a year some fresh gas & the 76 Maico fired right up while the 79 CR took lots of kicking...go figure that one...must be a jap sitting disorder.

Did you get it figured out?

Maico Mark wishing he was riding....
