Torsten Hallman Yamaha auction

I have always thought those TT's were really cool. I even like the stock ones. That thing is sweet!
 
The TTR's are kind of interesting, (well to me anyway).

KO1 and I had a conversation a year or so back about the TTR bikes. I spotted several that were being raced in vintage MX. I had never watched a TTR race before so was kind of unaware of these bikes. If you are an old school type racer and like good challenge it would be cool to build one of these old thumpers to race in MX. Especially if you could really build it right. So I take it this is how the Torsten Hallman MX bikes came into existence ?

I would hate to be behind that bike when the rear wheel tears loose. I'm even amazed at what these guys do to these Honda SL's.
