Check it out over on vital. Really cool! Go help em out and vote. They are in 2nd right now to social sport. But it's a close race. Social has 19%, hotlap has 18%. Nobody else is even close.

I just listened to a product description on PulpMX show by one of the company owners.
Really sounds like a cool product - Everyone that bicycles uses Strava
to track their miles, elevation, heart rate, etc and this sounds like a moto version of that.

Immediately you'll be able to compare your lap times vs someone else and eventually see where on the track
you need to improve and which line is faster! Unlike other apps you don't have to mount your
phone on the bike, you could use a Garmin watch (on your wrist or handlebar).
Sounds like this is an alternative to spending $$$ on the transponders.

a/o 6/14 Hotlaps was only 100 votes out of first place.

If this is anything like what they describe it will bring a new dimension to practicing
and even racing against others without the expense or formality of holding a race.

I used an app similar to this (that was designed for cars however) to map my laps around Smith Rd.. was pretty cool actually. I love data. But to have an MX-specific app would be even better!
