Not sure where to post this so ...

This Sunday is the 25th Sturd Ranch and Raceway Mini Bike
Classic. Amateurs on the short track, Pros get a GP for the
first time ever. Kids can ride around and learn to ride for
a couple hours after.

Practice at 1, races at 2:30, grills fired up by 4:30. Bring
a side and your favorite adult beverage unless you're under
age.

Mini definition - 19" front max, 17" rear max, nothing really
loud (I've got a sound measurement device and know how
to use it).

Ping me if interested.

Well shoot. Looks like I'll be running tvlands harescramble in the AM, and then blastin around on the ttr90 in the PM. Send me your address. I'll bring the lemonade and jalapeno kettle chips.

hmmmm this is close to home. whats this all about haha

Started when I bought the ranch 25 years ago. There were farm fields around it then. My
roadracing buddies and I had minis so we set up a rough scrambles sort of track and had
a race. We still do, once a summer, usually Father's Day. We're all older and slower but I've got
better track grooming equipment for the short track.

The GP the kid is setting up will be Pros only but doable on a TTr125. Through some woods,
over a couple obstacles, plus the TT track. The short track will be fun though. Kids that
are learners can borrow stuff and go around later too, we have a lot of that. Getting
kids that don't often get to ride is a kick.

Racing done, adult beverages and grilling begin, 4:30.

Anybody remember the Southeast Halloween Minibike races? That's why we all had minis.
