The equipment I noticed was the 2 water trucks and 1 plow, could be more but the weeds in the section were up to my neck ( I'm 6' 2") and I was afraid of ticks so I went through quickly. Some of the rain ruts are 4' deep and zero evidence of any usable topsoil. I hiked it from the road (Co RD 5) because I had no idea what condition the access would be in at the top. I could have easily drove all the way back though even in my Civic.
I didn't enter the water trucks or building for fear of bee's and believing in "treading lightly" when doing this stuff. Maybe scrapers pulled the sides off of the flag stand? You could see tire tracks up by the building so somebody is driving back there, could be the gas companies doing well maintenance.
I know the track was for sale in the 2009 time period. I do have Tim's e-mail for anyone that wants to contact him about a purchase but don't want to publish it publicly for people just to write him hate mail for closing it. If you want it just PM me.
One from the old days.
