For those who may have served during the GULF WAR War ERA. And additionally IRAQ and other Afghanistan.
Veterans day weekend I received a post card informing me of this and the deadline coming up.
"Application deadline for service dates between August 2, 1990 and March 3, 1991 is December 31, 2013."
This is for Ohio residents only, But If you live in another state the application suggests other states participated in similar programs for their resident VETs.
This is the link to the website and online application. The funds have already been set aside years ago so you are not adding to any debt or being patriotic by not applying for this. You will simply loose it.
