Go to PIA in Youngstown and become an Aircraft mechanic in 16 months
http://www.pia.edu/locations/#youngstown-campus

I work with 3 guys who are now nurses that were once aircraft mechanics. They all tell me nobody wants to pay them. They are getting tiered to start at $11-$15/hr with terrible benefits. Kind of makes me uneasy knowing that people working on planes are only getting paid so much....especially when I'm 15,000 feet + up in the air..... With that kind of pay I can see this sentence being spoken in the hangar: "Ahhh it's not my plane and it's almost 3:30 i'm gettin outta here."

Now is this like anything else, good companies to work for and bad companies to work for?

If you want to be an aircraft mechanic have you taken the ASVAB for the military? You may be able to pick that job....may.
