A week ago I had to go to the hospital for numbness in my hands, headache, buzzing in my ears and nausea. After two more visits to the ER and a couple specialist, nothing has been determined. All of the symptoms I can handle but the non stop buzzing in my ears is driving me crazy. I have had most of the normal tests and I am sure more are to come. If anyone has experienced this or knows someone who has, I would beg for any information. I was not around any loud noise and did nothing out the norm for a Monday morning. Please help.
Thanks guys.

Ok, it's April 1st and this is the old guy and bike section. So you've been riding a KX500 in need of a silencer and suspension fix while wearing an old too small helmet or you really are confused and should consider a Chiari malformation. But these are only wild guesses and should in no manner be considered as official diagnoses.

Wish I was playing but this one is serious...
Have been checked for tinnitus, vertigo and all the other inner ear issues and no luck.
Have an appointment with a neurologist in the morning. Just praying that he can tell me something

Most likely won't help much but you could try some Lipoflavniod from a local drug store . Helps with ear noise / ringing in the ears....

Yes, a neurologist is a good person to see for those symptoms. Good luck. Would have been nice had it been a 500 ride. Was this all sudden onset?

How is your blood pressure ck1? Normal? Elevated? If it is high, it may cover all your symptoms but the nausea. Did you eat some bad Chinese food to trip the nausea? J/K...but really, not. Hope you find the source. All the best to you.

Neurologist is treating it as an infection. 3 more prescriptions. Hopefully this cocktail of drugs helps.
BP was elevated but that's no surprise for a fat guy. Now that I have talked myself off the ledge, the bp has come way down to normal but still having the damn hissing... I will go to the drug store ASAP and look for the "Lipoflavniod". I am more then willing to give anything a try at this point.

Thanks for the help guys.

It's probably from the testing the AMA was doing with Nuclear scoring devices back in the late 80s.

do you ever see a chiropractor? i know my mom was dead set against them, until she finally caved and went for her ears and after 2 visits, she felt so much relief. just a thought.

Have you been checked for Lyme Disease?

Alsp try the Epley Maneuver ( resets your inner ear crystal if you have vertigo), only takes a few minutes and after you should feel instant relief.

Good luck and let us know what they find out.

I paid like a 100 bucks for the doctor to reset the crystal in my left ear. After my big get off at Pusheta in 2012, If I laid on my side the room would start spinning. Sort like when I used to drink and get the bed spins! She did a few moves and it's never been much of a problem since. I did get some blured vision in the spring of 13 but it hasn't happen in a while, have no Ideal why it happen.

Well, all the drugs are for sure kicking in and I physically feel much better, Still have the darn hissing in my ears but learning to live with it. Going to the chiropractor this afternoon, I have high hopes, Always feel great after an adjustment.
Going crazy in the head helped me drop 12 pounds in one week, so another month of this crap and I will be back to riding weight. Hey, I have to find some silver lining in this or I will go crazy. Besides, the sound of a KX500 does drowned out the hissing.
