Who wants an IT250?

I'm on it.

My older brother took his first woods ride last year and instantly hooked.
This would be a good entry point project for him and I.

Done!

Good eye on that one Bill.
Solid bike, decent shape and a good buy. (even the Speaker of The House said so.)

The Revival to Racing will begin.
I'll try and post update pics soon.

That's great! Even better because I know you, or perhaps your brother, will actually use it the way it should be - you'll ride it!

As it sits. (minus the kick stand)

The bike came with a small parts tub, basically a spare disassembled motor.
I replaced the carb boot (carb to cylinder), tore open the carb and made sure it was full of gas and not white powder and shellack, drained the old gas and tanked up some fresh 93 octane with Yamalube.

Fired off on 2nd kick, circled the yard a few laps. OK!

Needs a laundry list of parts that one would expect for a well used trail bike. The owner, (our age) stated he's owned the bike since he was 14.

I think finding and dragging home these tired old bikes is half the fun.
