Places to camp near OIR

Long shot, but looking for campgrounds that might have openings Labor Day weekend that are near OIR. Any suggestions?

Berlin lake is closest I know of for sure, prob 20 mins from OIR.

I believe West Branch has camping also. That would put you about 5 mins. from the track. Then there's Friendship acres down here in Randolph that's about 10 mins from the track. That's about all I can think of

I spent a lot of Saturday nights camping at the Wal-Mart near OIR

West Branch will be hosting about 10 Hudak lots this year. If you don't have reservations you will have to get there Wed. night or Thurs. morning to get a non reservation lot. they only have about 20. Its right across the street from the track.

We couldnt find a campground with an opening anywhere this late

I haven't checked since the benefit date was moved. Complications have had us in the hospital for 3 unplanned weeks.

Tpmx, were you checking for this weekend or the weekend of the 12th?

This weekend would be hard to find a spot anywhere this late, you shouldn't have any problems the weekend of the benifit though.
