How about some creek riding?

I rode the East Palestine track in the early 80's . Along with the basketball sized rocks in the creek , they also ran you up a hill that was only a short distance up the ridge from their National Hill Climb ....... STEEP ! Drew some big name offroaders from the day ; Penton , Gallo , Hyde , etc . . Huge turnouts .

Yuk! :D
Riding (or racing a long HS race) with soaking wet boots and gear sucks. (that is unless it's 90+ degrees out).
It is hard core though.
Reminds me of Dirt Bike articles I would read when I was a teen about Dick Burleson and the Blackwater enduro's.

HA. Think that's me about 3:45 on my XR600. There's worse things than wet boots. Not riding
comes to mind.
