I've owned a few current YZ250 smokers and haven't had any issues on the suspenders/handling, stock or revalved...or any bike for that matter in the last 28+years. Anyone have a personal testament to a lowering link? And how it aids in cornering on these newer YZ450's. The frame/motor-gyro effect seems to really hamper cornering; standing up tendencies. Nature of the beast? Moto not woods. B rider(vet B / reg B)

I have heard in the past that those lowering links are all show, some of them are even the same length as stock. Be sure to check the one you want to buy first.

Thanks Dave. Since I took delivery, I learned right away to increase sag to almost 125-130 to make it manageable until it/they broke in. Then I lowered it to about 105 which brings me to (so far) that's trait of this bike.
