Having trouble with Joe's 2003 KX125. Runs great, after he does some laps and lets it sit it won't start back up. Pulled the plug, it is tan but soaked with gas. Put in a new plug and it starts right up. Happened every time he came in. Thoughts?

Needle and seat possibly?
Gas run out the overflow on the carb while its setting at all?
We had a Yz125 around 98 that drove us crazy
Was the cdi,new one fixed that

Check your compression. It might need a top end. If compression is in spec then it could a bad crank seal on the clutch side -- sucking in tranny oil.

Also, check the reeds. Too much gap could give a "false" richness to the plug when reading it to the point of fowling it after a few laps.

Head gasket? Is the plug wet with fuel or water?
The engine could have major detonation damage and have ate into the gasket surface.
